- I am a Gentile who believes that Yeshua ( Jesus ) is the Holy One of Israel and the promised Messiah whose coming was fortold by the ancient prophets of Israel; that He is the Redeemer of fallen humanity and the Savior of the world. He is the King of the Jews and I believe that He is coming again in power and great glory to reign over all the nations of the earth for a thousand years upon the throne of David in Jerusalem. Therefore, I have an affinity for the land of Israel and the Jewish people and I am a strong supporter of the modern state of Israel.

- I love all music that magnifies the Lord and inspires worship of Him, whether it be contemporary christian, praise & worship, southern gospel, inspirational, traditional hymns and, of course, messianic Jewish music : )

This past week Jews around the world observed the feast of Purim. The observance of this Jewish holy day is scriptural and goes back in history to the 5th century B.C. After death of King Saul and his sons by the hand of the Philistines, David was made King of Israel. All of the tribes of Israel joined themselves to him in unity and by a show of force. It is notable that they were armed and prepared for war. However, what stood out in my reading of Scripture this morning was this verse concerning the tribe of Issachar but was not said of the other tribes:
